There might be a link between Muslims and those old AMF (American Muslim Foundation ? ) Harleys because they required the use of so much oil.

kir, your last line was the best advice on this thread.

UCanIt, somebody said you had a fully chopped Honda 50

Dazed, not trying to talk you out of what you selected but the XD's carry a lifetime warranty and they are available in all calibers. If you want a gun to easily conceal then this might be your model.. http://www.springfield-armory.com/xd.php?model=2 , check out the specs before you buy on each model.

ucanit, Why do we keep giving each other a hard time? You just like pulling my trigger to hear the gun go off..

Believe it or not, this will be my first handgun. I do have a tactical 12 guage. I am looking for a 9mm for concealed carry and probably one other handgun which I have not determined the caliber that I need. I am open to all suggestions.

What the hell are you going to war with someone? Like I said check out that link I gave you above and go to a local gun store and ask to hold the gun and be explained all of the features of each brand and the warranties of it. Each person has their own prefernces so you have to find yours. I like the 45 caliber and the kick is not as bad as you might think. Springfield the brand that I like has been around a long damn time.. They offer a lifetime warranty on what they sell and if you know what these handguns cost, that is a good thing to have with it.

Now just promise me that you won't shoot any liberals out there..

I just think the country is deteriorating at a rapid pace and all the police are good for is drawing nice chalk outlines. Don't forget that I was no pal of George Bush and his crusade. 8)

Dazed, you can often rent a handgun at some ranges and I'm sure some of your friends might let you borrow theirs to get in a little range experience (so long as you are buying the ammo). Check out some of the amenities available over at Detroit CCW.

... and whooes say'en civilians ain't armed all the way up to their arses?

Gotdamn!

Maybe I should pack some heat myself... :D

Goin' way back to active military days, I lived packing with a 45 cal (M1911 series). I still prefer silver nitrate-charged dyamite. Me and the boys once blowed up a row of VC shitz houses and all the plumbing. I'll never use a gotdamn Chicom (Chinese) toilet, cuz I don't trust the bassturds. Everything they make is shitz.

You knowed, I've got an old Sony Vaio desktop that's appears to be all Japanese. Howevered, I bet now that most Japanese hardware has Chicom, cancer laden parts runn'en all through its electronic shitz.

You sure knowed how to piss me off on a early Sunday morn'en! I even missed church today, butt I ain't blaming you for that. All things said, come on a sit down with me and have a slice of stone-cold crow! Shitz been pissed on for that bitter-sweet taste! I'll even shared them turnip greens with you.

Ucanit,

You ain't lian a lick'en bout' that, butt I'm sure you boys could hit enuff' rabbits when necessary. Shit'z was really an arse opener when some VC pissant was aiming for you. Live and learn, butt I still find myself think'em bout' the time when I damn near got my head blowed off from an AK-47 round. That Army dude grabbed me by the collar and flipped me back with the brute force of his giant hand and wrist motion. My head felt like it was be'en jerked off, butt it was in split second time from being killed. I ain't meaning to repeat myself here, butt one of your boys saved my life.

I'm bout' ready for a vacation. You boys keep it cool in here...

DDeath: I ain't heard you in here for awhile. I hope them roids ain't got your arse glued to the Kohler hopper! I'm gonna be ordering several dozen cherry pastries in July, so please make sure their delivery is timely!

I'll see you boys in early July.

As for me, not really concerned about concealment............If I'm looking for someone (with a firearm)
I want him to see those 4, 50 rnd banana clips and to KNOW that he will run out of breath before I'm "out" and he will slow down enough that a peashooter is all that I would really need at that point.
I don't need no stinking permit! :D
Hey ucanit...........hang with me bud..........we'll be eating steak or BBQ, not squirrel, or "Bug's"
WestTx.........that DYNOMITE stuff makes good bait too!! Welcome to the fishfry everbody, "All you can eat"!!
