Bortz on Palin

I am starting to like Bortz more and more, because he is saying what I am thinking.
I am sorry for anybody who missed todays show. I am one of the people who would vote against Obama except if she is the candidate. I am not going to follow one inept moron with another.

SARAH PALIN ... CANDIDATE?

Here's where I stepped into it during my MSNBC appearance Saturday night. I said that if Sarah Palin becomes the Republican candidate in 2012 Barack Obama will more than likely be reelected. Do I like the lady? Yes, I do. But I'm sorry .. she doesn't have it. She's not a narcissistic, arrogant person in the vein of Barack Obama .. but there's just nothing about her that screams "presidential." There are so many things that Sarah Palin doesn't seem to know, while there are so many things that Obama seems to know that ain't so. Not once during her speech did she propose any bold new policy idea. I'm sorry .. but while there were plenty of homilies to American greatness and the value of limited government .. there wasn't anything being said Saturday night that pretty much any run-of-the-mill GOP rhetoric. There is, for instance, no way Sarah Palin can hold a candle to Mitt Romney when it comes to presidential promise.

And then there's the abortion thing. I mentioned Saturday night that if the Republicans want to make a go of it in 2012 they have to do something about their obsession with abortion. If they keep up this abortocentrist nonsense they're going to chase away perhaps millions of American woman who's concepts of limited government include the idea that government out to stay the hell out their womb. Naturally, I noticed some rather nasty emails to the show about this comment --- and, true to form, these comments were ALL from men. Go figure.

Now I know what this is true ... I know why men are the ones who get worked up the most about this abortion issue. It has something to do with control issues ... control over their womanfolk. But let's not go there today. "

<hehehe> I didn't catch all of Neal's show today...just bits and pieces. I try to catch a little bit of many diverse shows just to see how they all try to spin the facts in such a way as to support their individual agenda...which, for the most part, is to attract audience to increase their ratings and thus increase their personal income. It ain't rock science here, folks!

Here's something for you all to think about. The primary mission of Palin is not to be a serious presidential candidate but really to provide media fodder and diversion for the real 2012 Republican party presidential candidate. Realistically, it's 2 years and 9 months before the 2012 election and not even God could withstand the media assassins for that long!

UCanIt, I hope you are right, but 2 years ago who would have thought that a Know Nothing Community Organizer from Chicago would be pretending to be President. Bortz was correct when he called most people Fadists when referring to the supporters of Palin, but Fadists elected Obama. We are talking about people who will chase any fad, hell look at people who bought Pet Rocks. We need leaders not rulers or current fads.
