You Say You Want a Revolution

Postby DazedandConfused » Sun Feb 07, 2010 10:34 am

Revolution, something that I have called for several times on this board. Sarah Palin said the same words at a Tea Party Convention. My problem with her saying it is that she means it in the same tone as the Islamic Revolution in Iran, not in the context of a cleansing of government. A religious revolution is far worse than a communist revolution. More than other current forms of government, church based governments frighten me the most.

She sounds exactly like our founding fathers! Limited government, and a STRONG reliance on GOD! Without BOTH of these, our country will perish! Say what you wish, but Sarah delivers a message that many Americans want to hear! Ignore her at your peril!

Daisy, it scares the hell out of me when I hear the statistic that 70% of Republicans don't believe in evolution. I was going to enter into a big debate, but I deleted my original post. We cannot possibly agree on this topic. 8)

Wasn't she the one who said: "I saw heaven from my kitchen window"?

Daisy, if things continue as they are, Obama will be a one-term president. The only thing that could stop the redumkins is......... nominating Palin to run against him. :o

DDEATH, I assure you, Sarah can win, and has a strong possibility of winning if she runs! If you want to know who the liberals in the media fear the most, just look at who they are attacking the most, and by FAR that is Sarah Palin! Remember the same things that are presently said about Palin, were also said about Reagan! The stronger the media attacks this women, the more the American people will be attracted to her!

Look at the book signings, speeches, or ANY other event, this women takes part in, and it attracts HUGE amounts of people, and coverage from the liberal media! This women has STRONG, DEEP, and UNWAVERING, support among conservatives, and will be very difficult to beat in 2012!

DDeath, the only thing that could prompt me to vote for Obama is Sarah Palin. She is not Reagan, she is Obama with the dumbness of Bush. 8 years of Bush was way tooooo much.

Dazed, Lets just concentrate on blocking Obama's agenda until the mid term elections on Nov. 2010! If this man is successful in implementing anymore of his anti capitalist agenda, it wont matter who wins in 2012, it will be to late!

Daisy,

The differences between Reagan and Palin are HUGE. Reagan is the only Prez I voted for TWICE......... a very likable guy.

I think Palin is like Goldwater. She has a large conservative base, but with no support among moderates and independents.......... she would lose in a landslide.

DDeath, Reagan was an offshoot of Goldwater. Palin is a direct clone of George Bush.

Daisy, religious fundamentalism is just as frightening, if not more so, than socialism. Sarah Palin is the worse thing that can happen to true freedom.
