I can still scratch my ass, but I don't dare wash my care because it is too damn cold out there. Damn Global Warming.

Well, I guess maybe I should also worry about Global Warming with headlines like this:

Weather.Com - Harsh, Dangerous, Long-Lasting Cold

But WindowMan, your link contains so-called "scientific study" resulting from data gathered from temperature recording devices strategically located on black asphalt parking areas and beside the heat discharge units of air conditioners. Haven't you been reading how they've manipulated the data and data gathering techniques to support their lies?

Besides that, your link even contained a link to a NASA article stating that “2008 was the coolest year in over a decade!”

Why do you just keep on ignoring the facts?

Yeah we all have our facts print that we read and do not read. I could dissect your links and question them as well but what is the difference..Once again you and I will not agree on this issue and so be it. I am fine with others with different opinions and I will not even put you down for it.. 8)

By the way that reference you linked has this in the statement..

"Calendar year 2008 was the coolest year since 2000, according to the Goddard Institute for Space Studies analysis [see ref. 1] of surface air temperature measurements. In our analysis, 2008 is the ninth warmest year in the period of instrumental measurements, which extends back to 1880 (left panel of Fig. 1). The ten warmest years all occur within the 12-year period 1997-2008. The two-standard-deviation (95% confidence) uncertainty in comparing recent years is estimated as 0.05°C [ref. 2], so we can only conclude with confidence that 2008 was somewhere within the range from 7th to 10th warmest year in the record. "

So what does that mean?

It means that after they "massaged" the numbers (as indicated and exposed by all those emails) that (now listen to what they said) the coolest year over the past decade was in fact the 7th to 10th warmest year on record. WindowMan, that just don't make any damned sense. Geeezusss!!

No ucanit, it states that 2008 was the coolest year since 2000 but it still means that it was still one of the 7th to 10th warmest on record. Which means in plain english that even with the cool winter it is still averaging the warmest on record. Which brings it back to the post I made that a cold winter does not mean there is no global warming going on.. It is all about "averages"..

As for the email stuff you keep on bringing up I kind of do not trust the people presenting the evidence. Anyone who breaks into emails seems to me not trustworthy to listen to in my opinion, credibility issue. I guess one could look through any message or blog and take out a line to say anything they want to say also in my opinion. link to read..http://www.ucsusa.org/global_warming/sc ... egate.html

I am ready to end this subject because again we are different in our opinions and I will accept that without anymore debating.

Am I going to have to introduce a different farce. How about Jenny McCarthy's claim that immunizations cause autism. She has no evidence, but she has been on Oprah and she is a hell of a lot prettier than Al Gore.

And so, according to your theory, I guess we shouldn't even consider all those emails that indicated Enron was doing something illegal, huh?

And once again WindowMan takes his toys and goes home in a pout!!!

No pouting here, just know when to give up to stop your ranting. You have to know when your tools do not work in a situation and stop working on it because it is a waste of time and then it leads to temper tantrums by the person it does not work on..

Nothing personal ucanit.. You do not like my toys anyways..

Dazed,

I'm in a shitty mood tonight. Can you tell? Mentioning autism and Al Gore is the same paragraph is criminal.

Autism is the latest fad going. Any brat who can't be socially trained gets an autism label. I've know one child who was autistic -- at least by the outdated medical criteria of years past. Today, it's vogue to have the autism label, especially if you're a brat from an affluent family. If it's not autism, then it's attention deficit disorder.

Kids need to be kids. Let them run and play, get into trouble, then teach them a lesson.

Al Gore? What a saltine cracker with a foul taste. Damn liar..., and his wife is a nutcase to boot.
