If the welfare distributor loses the election, will riots follow?

Daisy,

It's all about taking from you, because I want it. I'm glad I live in a rural area. I sure as Hell hope DDeath's cherry pastry plant is secure in Chicago!

DDeath: On another topic, I saw some recent pictures of the old Zenith Radio Corporation plant out of Chicago. I remember Zenith 40-50 years ago when they made some of the finest radio and television products in the world. I still have one of their last portable radio receivers, the origional Royal 7000: http://www.radioera.com/royal7000.htm

I had a Royal 3000 with me in SE Asia prior to picking up the 7000. Zenith and Chicago made it happen.

Well, the looters and bums will be going after Dazed when they find out he's got the $$$ and the ladies!

Times are changing, and I'm being left behind. Just remember - "Life's a bitch, then you die."

I think they're blowing things out of proportion..........

I remember an email going around in 2008 that listed 35(?) outrageous predictions that would occur if Obama was elected; like "all guns would be confiscated by the government or "religious freedom will be lost". It was obviously written by right-wing-religious-wackos, who were anti-Obama.

NOT ONE of those predictions came true!!!

Sure, I favor Obama.......... but if he doesn't win, I'm not going to start throwing rocks or burning things!

I think when people only listen to one-sided stations such as MSNBC, FOX, or talk radio (liberal & conservative); they are SHOCKED when they watch mainstream news and start thinking of conspiracy theories to explain why reality is not what they were led to believe...........

Tex,

Not to worry.......... I have a squad of armed Marines guarding the bakery!

I had a Zenith portable radio when I was in high school, back in the late fifties. Couldn't tell you what model it was, but it could almost fit in my shirt pocket.........

I though that sayin was "life's a bitch, then you marry one".

Oh well, gotta go, Mrs. Death is reading over my shoulder........... AAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!

There would probably be some riots, but Republicans would not end the Welfare state, after all they would be looking forward to the next election. Preservation of these 2 wonderful parties is the most important thing.

Tex,

in addition, we are ALL responsible for the loss of our manufaturing base; including the politicians, the greedy corporations, and the greedy people who like to buy all of those cheap products made in other countries.

The fundamental job picture has changed and I seriously doubt if Romney or Obama can change it. I am sorry to say that high unemployment will be the norm for many years.

We can all swim together, or we will sink together...........

DDeath,

I knowed what you mean. Things got me worried, butt I jest gotta protect what I've acquired over the years. Asscept for a few coin shows here and there, I'm retired now. I'm comforable enuff to say that I should have a few pennies left in the pot when I die.

I was right serious in my last post about Zenith. Your follow-up post bout' the manufacturing jobs be'en lost is right sad. I'm as guilty as many others when I started purchase'en Honda automobiles. I got so gotdamn frustrated with the 70's domestic products, that I ditched'em. Without a doubt, Chrysler was the King of Shitz after 1972, and they're still producing shitz today. Well, I forgot to mention that anuther radio product outta Chicago was Hallicrafters. They were mighty fine too.

I betcha your Zenith pocket radio was from the Royal 500 series. Some of them boys had radio dials like an owl's eyes. Restored models these days fetch a penny or two.

See: http://radiojayallen.com/zenith-royal-5 ... or-radios-–-the-“owl-eye”-radios/

I ain't goin nowhere with your "life comment. Your honey wife is damn near likely to knock your arse cross' the room! I should've never been so serious in that last post. I'm back to the bullshitz now.

Please throw'ed me a cherry pastry or two.

Tex,

Sounds to me like you had a bad experience with a Chrysler product........

I've never owned a foreign car or Chrysler; all GM or Ford. I grew up when "made in Japan" meant cheap, cheap, cheap!

I did have one of those "owl eye" transistor radios, just can't figure which one.........

Yep, cuz we nuked'em in 1945. I remember Sony making a hit in the U.S. market in the mid-60's. You gotta remember that Japan was a right established industrial complex jest prior to WW-II. They mighta had crazy war leaders, butt they've always produced.

I can't say the same for the Chicoms. Tell me how the Japanese Navy pissed on'em so heavily until recent times? Hell, I'm jest get'en side-tracked again! I don't like them Chicoms...

I was always partial to Ford. GM has a long history too, butt they mighta been better off goin through a bankrupcy filing and reorg. As it stands, Obama poured in tax dollars to get the union vote from the automotive industry. That Chevy Volt is an overpriced POS, and a total failure. In fact, most of Obama's Administration's investments have been questionable. He'd be better off working with social services in a ghetto. Hell, Dazed was right... They're all gotdamn liars.

Let's see how the debate goes tomorrow even'en. I saw that Arseholerod talk'en on CNN tonight. He ain't no campaign leader, cuz he's worse than a used car salesman. I sure nuff wish all of us cud come to ChicagoLand, watch the debate together, and have some of your fine cherry pastries. I'd sit between Windowman and Daisy!

Damn!
