Is that any worse than a FOXBOT who says he just an average American, but really agrees with all of those right-wing-wacko ideas???? :?:

My local FOX station (WFLD) was on air and doing business long before cable came along. They were a "free" channel when they started broadcasting from Chicago in 1966.
You can blame that one on your Fed govt (the FCC to be exact...with permission of congress) requiring ALL tv stations start using frequencies that are not "picked up" by the standard TV, and now requires that you have a "converter box" to receive the frequencies now used.....get a box....it still may be free....but only the locals can pick it up....They made a huge mess of "everyday" life when govt got involved at that level..........typical govt.....So as I said..there is as much difference in the Fox "network" and Fox news, as there is between NBC and MSNBC.
The "mainstream" on both networks "lean" a little toward their CABLE counterparts.......
It's all the opinion the owners of each network that determines those "leanings"..........therefore we have no "real" news.1!!!
Remember, four boxes keep us free: the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box.

I have weeded out the stations that project their "opinions" as "news"...and now watch only my local networks, that just REPORT "news"...

Remember, Rupert Murdock says...

Sean Hannity is just an "entertainment segment"...

Bill O'Reilly is just an "entertainment segment"...

Glen Beck WAS just an "entertainment segment"...

FOX and Friends is just an "entertainment segment"...

...and FOXNews is supposed to be the "news" part...until they interject their own personal beliefs and opinions...and then...not so much...

...and, oh yes...like Jon Stewart...Rush Limbaugh is just "entertainment" as well...

As for Daisy's ratings numbers...I think it just shows that there's more on the Right that need to be told what to think !!

I think FOX is exactly what Nixon thought it would be, or should be, when he envisioned it .......... how else could a bunch of rich guys get enough voters to agree they should have more money and a larger share of the pie? The gullibility of American voters never ceases to amaze me.
