Was Obama smoking weed before the debate?

Anyone watching Obama's performance at the first debate, was left wondering if Obama was stoned out of his mind. Bill maher seems to think so, and so do I!

No excuses, butt he sounded right tired to me. I dialed in on the radio.

I think Biden and Ryan hit it off this Thursday.

westTx, Biden is a loose cannon, and is capable of saying anything. Maybe they should put him on a sedative, to keep him out of trouble, or just put him on the same stuff Obama was smoking before the 1st debate.

   Dazed, Not sure if that works in front of 60 MILLION people looking for intelligent responses to questions, that the stoned person must answer!   For the sake of the democratic party, I think David Axelrod, should monitor Obama before the next debate, before he makes a fool out of himself again!

Unlike Obama, it looks like Biden is taking his debate seriously: http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/bid ... 53879.html

DD, That's what made the loss even more devastating. Romney was completely changing his tax position, and Obama never challenged him on it!. He was saying all along that he was giving a tax cut to everyone including the rich for many months now. Then at the debate he completely changed it, by saying no tax cuts for the rich, because he is now going to take away certain deductions for them. Then he came out with a completely new position for ALL tax payers, saying that your max deductions can't exceed 17,000 dollars per year.

The next question that must be asked, is what policies will Romney change next during the next debate, and will Obama finally challenge him on his ever changing positions? Will Obama finally wake up out of his slumber (drug induced or not) and challenge Romney? America needs a real debate, and needs BOTH candidates to participate this time around!

Gotdam, Daisy! What's happening? You're starting to make sense.

Pretty soon we'll be meeting in the middle!

Actually, as I've often said, I don't give a crap who is elected........... as long as they work together to solve some of our problems.

That's a little like saying....we're only gonna tax moneys over $8.15 per hour.....hmmm.
Not a bad "start"

Maher added on Friday that Obama looked disinterested and annoyed during the debate.

Probably just pissed that he would have to lower his " above all this....why should I have to defend myself and policies to those lowly citizens" attitude. :o

The first debate sucked, because:

1) Obama had his head in another world

2) Romney came out with a completely different tax plan, and wasn't challenged by Obama on it.

3) Nobody was challenged on our ENORMOUS debt burden, and what each candidate would do about it!

Here is the most important question that I would ask if moderating:

As you know, we now have a 16 TRILLION dollar debt, and ENTITLEMENTS are about to take over the ENTIRE federal budget, if not confronted. If you were President in 2013, what SPECIFIC proposals would you lay out, to not only deal with the ENORMOUS debt burden we now have, but the growing entitlement burden.
