THE DEBATE

THE DEBATE

Postby DazedandConfused » Thu Oct 04, 2012 7:23 am

Before anybody goes off half-cocked, I did not watch the debate, I was rearranging my sock drawer, and trying to figure out what to do about 2 girls that want to own me. That is my debate.

Miguel Cabrera was much more interesting anyway.

Dazed, I watched it until about 10:00, and almost fell asleep! They simply told us want we want to hear, rather than what we need to hear! We have a huge debt problem, and neither candidate has realistic solutions.

By the way intrade, and most of the pundits, liberal and conservative thought Romney had a much better night. http://www.cnbc.com/id/49281951

I watched almost the whole thing, and Romney seemed to be a lot smarter then I thought he was. He bitch-slapped Obama most of the night and was definitely the winner. Of course Obama could be pulling the rope-a-dope, allowing him make statements that he might regret later.

The question now is: how big of a bump will it give Romney in the polls. :?:

Dazed,

I pulled in the debate over the radio. Romney sure as Hell sounded more coherent to me, butt like DDeath mentioned, maybe Obama was pull'en him in. I don't knowed...

I've been read'em more bout' Obama Care, and for us older folk' things may not be as good for future medical treatments. That kinda disturbs me if I'm will'en to handle the indicidual cost. The cost(s) of this gotdamn program has gotta be take'en it outta our arses some kinda big time. I guess we'll be dead before things get too funked up.

Two girls sniff'en for you? Why in the Hell don't you jest settle down and get married? I knowed a nice lady that might take a like'en to you. You jest gotta come with me to a church picnic one day!

WestTx you know I am in my ostrich mode ignoring politics because I can't do anything about it. You know it would be easier to pull a politician through the hole of a bagel than get me into church. You keep offering nice ladies when you know I like bad girls.
