Looks like 1%. Anybody want to bet the benefit rates go up higher? I have actually done my spreadsheet based on 1%.

I am a planning nut, and in 5 years i should be able to retire at about what I make now considering CSRS, state retirment, MRD from 401K and Social Security, and I have based increases on everything except the 401K on 1%. I save $1825/month into the 401K. We haven't received an actual across the board at the state since 2005. I have received increases via promotions, but nothing like the PO contract raises, and there is no such thing as step increases. We get logevity pay, but my last one for 7 years was only $660. Windfall elimination provisions will knock about 384 off my Social Security so I will only get about 500 at age 70. I have thought about just saying the hell with it and retiring to NALCREST but I like to party too much, and full retirement would drive me nuts.

Been retired 12 years in December. My NET CSR annuity is up 35.89% since then; thanks to COLAs and GW tax cuts. My wife started collecting about $700 a month Soc Sec, a year ago.

I have more disposable income now, than at any time during my working years.

I pick up $100 - 200 a month doing financial/computer work.

Life is good........ :)

I only have data back to 2006 but mine has only gone up 15.8% in the last 6 years.
