So the answer to poverty is more government programs? Liberals like yourself and KIR, define "compassion" as how many people are on the government teet. I define "compassion" as how many people are OFF the government teet, providing for themselves, and becoming as wealthy as possible! Of course that's become a lot harder under the present BIG gov. President, but help is on its way in a few months! ;)

daisy....some also think that the answer to better education is more $$$, with less control in the classroom, teach a test and not the "subject".
