Happy birthday Dazed!

Maybe we need to go off the cliff; it might spur Congress to cut spending and raise taxes....... the most effective way to reduce the deficit.

Most of you know that I don't walk with either political party, and my views range from liberal to conservative depending on the issue. I have first hand experience with taxes and believe the wealthy have many more options to avoid taxes than the average man. Tax laws are written by wealthy lawyers, and they twist the codes to benefit themselves. No average person has any concept of the compexity of the tax code. We are not people represented by congress, we are subjects, and anybody who thinks Republicans or Democrats are looking out for them is foolish.
