Ohoh, I know you're getting upset when you start throwing those phuks around.

The planet where people who PAY for something......... expect something in return. Do you know, or can you tell, the difference between Social Security and welfare?

Most economists agree that a few relatively minor tweaks to Social Security, will extend it's solvency for at least a hundred years.

Congress needs to get their heads outta their asses and do some work!

Ryan wants to save social security and medicare. They will go broke as currently funded. How did ya miss this news? The younger generation, your kids, will get nothing but excuses from those today who are but political con artists and won't be honest with US about this crisis. Any real talk of reforming these vital programs is made into a democrat TV ad showing Ryan pushing grandma off a cliff.

The deception of Obama is for US to not think about such issues. Instead, let's talk about how Bain Capital let some poor woman die of cancer. Or let's debate the need to see Romney's 2010 tax return. Or let's argue about Ann Romney staying home to raise 5 boys not being real work. Or let's focus on how Sandra Fluke needs her free birth control. And so the con goes on.

Some 100 million Americans today receive government support of some sort. That is not a social "safety net". That is Dependency on Big Brother and that is the death of individual freedom. This is what you want? This is what you wish for your children?

This is not a drill. Elections have consequences.

"The highly successful program, under attack by Republicans and Wall Street, can easily be shored up for future retirees."

The fact is; it's still up to Congress to fix it, no matter who is president. We have to get the Dems to pull their heads out of their collective asses, and get the Reps to think about something other than cut, cut, cut..........

Always see that DEATH always shares the blame for everything with both parties equally. Nothing is going to work in government until both sides can compromise and to that I put the blame mainly with the GOP. We will have to get this election over with before anything will happen with movement. In my opinion, there will be no Social Security or Medicare for the future if the GOP controls everything. There will be no compromise if Social Security and Medicare go away. So it is time for the American people to speak with their votes, and as Daisy always says, elections have consequences. We are seeing it now with the gridlock we have from the House and most people see it that way in my opinion.

I saw a great article about the twin ponzi schemes (s.S and medicare) in my local paper a couple of weeks ago. It pretty much told me what I already know. The people who are already on it, made out like bandits (paying much less then what their collecting) and that FUTURE recipients will get racked over the coals (collecting LESS than what they paid into the twin ponzi schemes) Anyone who is under 55, and thinks that S.S and medicare are good deals, and are not ponzi schemes, should have their PHUKIN heads examined!!!!!! Even worse, the people who are under 45 at the present moment will really get phuked up the ass, without the Vaseline!!!!

Window, You might think its BS, but I look at the facts, and prefer not to stick my hand in the sand,(like yourself) and have some liberal politician tell me SS and medicare are in good shape, and just need minor "tweaking". BULLSHIT! First of all, the money that was supposed to go into the social security trust fund has already been spent, and replaced with a bunch of worthless IOU'S from a country that's 16 TRILLION in debt! Does that make you feel secure????? Are you stupid enough to believe, that with the BIGGEST generation retiring (baby boomers) that there's enough money to pay benefits in the future, without the twin ponzi schemes going bankrupt, or a massive tax increase levied to everyone working? Do you think the next generation is going to tolerate a 60,70, 0r 80% tax rate, just so the baby boomer generation can collect their "entitlements"? Are you that PHUKIN STUPID????? But don't worry all we need is some minor "tweaking" right? Ponzi schemes always end badly, and this one will be no different!

But they clearly don’t get it: The selection of Mr. Ryan focuses — like a laser — the 2012 election on the economy and the incumbent president’s clear failure to solve not only the current mess, but the overarching conditions — out-of-control spending — that underlie it. Mr. Ryan, perhaps the most articulate budget wonk in either party, will spend the next 85 days laying that out for American voters.

Make no mistake: Mr. Obama tossed and turned through a sleepless slumber after word leaked out at midnight Friday that Mr. Romney had picked Mr. Ryan. He knows the choice was indeed a game-changer — one that will leave him very little room to distract and deceive voters about his dismal record. And he knows he cannot run and hide, not now.
:!:
Federal spending across the board is out of hand. This year alone, the government will spend $1 trillion more than it takes in (from already-too-high taxes). While both Democrats and Republicans are to blame for spiraling spending, eventually someone — anyone — will have to slash spending. There is no other way (note to Democrats: There are only 245,000 millionaires and billionaires even fewer today than when Mr. Obama took office — so raising their taxes through the roof just won’t balance the budget)
Remember, four boxes keep us free: the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box.
